Vidya Balan's disastrous career moves

Vidya Balan, made an impressive debut in 'Parineeta' and followed it with playing the lead opposite Sanjay Dutt in 'Lage raho Munnabhai', a huge hit from the same production house of Vinod Chopra. The lucky streak ended abruptly with 'Guru', which, although an average success, showed Vidya Balan's severe limitations as an actress.
This was followed by Salaam-e-Ishq which sank without a trace and now 'Eklavya' which is not expected to last beyond a few weeks. While all these movies were being made, Vidya turned down offers from Aditya Chopra, Mira Nair and Pradeep Sarkar and now has said she's unsure about figuring in 'Munnabhai Chale America', the follow up to 'Lage Raho Munnabhai'. Whew! If there is some method to her madness, we have yet to figure it out.
