Malaika Arora Khan was asked to wear a bikini for the Ms.Bikini World contest, expected to be held in Goa in December this year. Apparently Malaika Arora asked for such a large amount of money that the organizers had to turn her down.

So low profiles are the relationships among the co-brothers in Bollywood that their rivalries are known only to the intimate friends and this is why no one has ever spoken about Amitabh Bachchan and Rajeev Verma in the same breath. Or for that matter, about Pankaj Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah.

With Puja Gupta not winning the Miss Universe crown, many comments such as "She did not deserve the crown" are floating around.

While Sabira Merchant, who helped Puja Gupta with her diction, says that Puja lacked the poise, fashion designer Rohit Bal reportedly said Puja did not deserve the crown, a fact he had known when he judged her at the Miss India event.

Before the Miss Universe all the experts were 100 per cent sure that Puja would bring home the crown, but no sooner than she lost, a different tune is being sung.

Is it a case of sour grapes?

We all know by now that the Bollywood's current hot favourite, Priyanka Chopra, can sing and sing well. The proof came when she sang a single line for the film Bluffmaster. The line was "Right Here, Right Now." Next viewers of KBC3 were in for a pleasant surprise when she sang a few lines of the song "Yeh Mera Dil" from the film Don.

Hollywood actor Richard Gere seems to have a thing for Indian actresses. First Gere was seen falling all over Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty at an event to raise awareness on AIDS, and now in a popular TV talk show he goes ga-ga over Bipasha.

The show is Koffee with Karan. In conversation with Karan Johar while Gere was giving out the names of Indian actors who have been working actively in the field of AIDS, he is reported to have said that Bipasha is "very sexy" and "very hot."

Shahid Kapur, riding on the success of Rajshree's 'Vivah' has signed a movie with Shree Ashtavinayak cine vision for a whopping Rs.2.5 crores. This amount is specially large, considering a Shahid Kapur solo movie was unthinkable before 'Vivah' happened. 'China Town' too was an average movie. Meanwhile girlfriend Bebo (Kareena Kapoor), has been turning down the few offers she's been getting, looking for 'meaningful roles', without much success.

Vidya Balan, made an impressive debut in 'Parineeta' and followed it with playing the lead opposite Sanjay Dutt in 'Lage raho Munnabhai', a huge hit from the same production house of Vinod Chopra. The lucky streak ended abruptly with 'Guru', which, although an average success, showed Vidya Balan's severe limitations as an actress.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Eklavya - The Royal Guard' is carrying mixed reports says an industry source. The movie is very much focussed on Amitabh Bachchan's character and distributors aren't exactly tripping over their feet to buy the movie's distribution rights. As a result 'Eklavya' remains unsold in major territories even as its release is planned for this Friday.
