The President of India has been pleased to appoint Dr. A.R. Kidwai, Governor of Haryana, to discharge the functions of the Governor of Punjab and also the Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigargh during the absence on visit abroad of Shri Justice Om Prakash Verma (Retd.), in addition to his other duties.
