The Government has constituted the Central Press Accreditation Committee (CAPC). The committee will be chaired by the Principal Information Officer, Smt. Shakuntla Mahawal and will have 15 other members. The committee will consider the cases for grant of Press Accreditation of the News Media Correspondents/Cameramen of the Government of India.
