The Union Minister of Communications & Information Technology, Shri Dayanidhi Maran today called on Mrs. Adriana Ticau, Romanian Minister of Communications & IT at Bucharest where the 23rd Universal Postal Union Conference is being held. Shri Maran offered Indian companies’ investments in IT sector in Romania. Mrs. Ticau highly appreciated the offer, as Romania was already very keen to have joint ventures with Indian IT companies. Shri Maran extended invitation to his counterpart to visit India to attend the Electronics & Software Exhibition to be held in the second week of February next year in New Delhi. Both the Ministers agreed to have strategic alliance and collaboration in marketing and distribution tie up. Shri Maran also offered special slots for the Romanian IT sector.
