A cadre review is on the cards for officials borne on the Company Law Affairs Ministry. The exercise is intended to create better avenues of promotion and in-service training. Opportunities would be created for these officials to gain experience of working in other Ministries and Departments as well.
Apart from the Indian Company Law Service (ICLS) the Ministry controls several feeder cadres specific to it. The personnel employed come from several disciplines including law, chartered accountancy and cost accountancy.
