On the basis of written examination, 2004 held on 3rd October, 2004 and the Personality Test held in September, 2005, the UPSC has declared the final result of the Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2004. 296 candidates have qualified for appointment to (i) Border Security Force, (ii) Central Reserve Police Force, (iii) Indo-Tibetan Border Police, (iv) Central Industrial Security Force, and (v) Special Services Bureau.
Out of these 296 candidates, 140 candidates are from the General category, 82 from Other Backward Classes, 47 from Scheduled Castes and 27 from the Scheduled Tribes.
For any further information, the candidates may contact the Facilitation Counter of the Commission, either in person or on Telephone Nos. 23385271, 23381125 between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on all working days. The results are also available on the UPSC website at www.upsc.gov.in.
