The Vice President, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has greeted the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, which celebrates the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana.
In a message, the Vice-President said that this festival reaffirms our faith in the sublime and eternal values in our lives and celebrates the triumph of good over evil with gaiety and enthusiasm. He expressed the belief that the festival will be a source of inspiration to all of us to follow the path of ethics and moral values and extend a helping hand to the poor and deprived around us.
May the great festival bring peace, prosperity and happiness in the lives of all, he added.
