The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in his message on the occasion of Onam, which is being celebrated tomorrow, has said:
“On the auspicious occasion of Onam, I send my greetings and good wishes to all my people living in India and abroad.
May this unique festival, coinciding with the harvest season, bring happiness and prosperity to the lives of everyone in our country, especially our farmers who sweat for the well-being of our nation. Sweat or hard work of people transforms into a good harvest which leads to happiness in homes and ultimately the nation”.
