Social activist Mrs. Nafisa Ali has been nominated as Chairperson of the Children’s Film Society of India (CFSI). She succeeds Ms. Raveena Tandon who resigned from the post early this month. Winner of the Miss India Crown at 19, model, actress and a TV star, she has been the recipient of the Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award.
Mrs. Nafisa Ali is actively involved in the non-governmental organizations-Action India and the Naz Foundation and has also worked with the quake victims in Kutch district of Gujarat.
