The President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has transferred Justice Ananga Kumar Patnaik, Chief Justice of the Chattisgarh High Court, as the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. He has been directed to assume charge of the office of the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on or before 8th October, 2005.
