India is participating in a global food exhibition in Cologne, Germany, beginning tomorrow.
The Indian pavilion will be opened by the Minister of Food Processing Industries, Shri Subodh Kant Sahai. He is leading a delegation of Members of Parliament and representatives of prominent food processing industries in India.
During the five-day exhibition, Shri Sahai would explore possibilities of more foreign direct investment for the food processing sector in India.
The Indian pavilion at the exhibition has been sponsored by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Indian Trade Promotion Organization(ITPO). Over 30 Indian companies are participating in the exhibition.
