The Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, underwent a minor surgical procedure on his right hand this morning at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
The operation was performed to relieve pressure on a nerve near the wrist. After a successful surgery was conducted on him, Dr. Manmohan Singh has returned to his residence, from where he is attending to his official duties. While his right hand would remain bandaged for a few days, the Prime Minister would be working normally.
