The President of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has transferred Shri Justice Markendeya Katju, Chief Justice of Madras High Court as Chief Justice of Delhi High Court. He has been directed to assume the charge of the office of the Chief Justice of Delhi High Court on or before 20th October 2005.
Shri Justice B.A.Khan, acting Chief Justice of Delhi High Court has been transferred as judge of the J&K High Court. He has been directed to assume charge of his office on or before 19th October 2005.
