The Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Thiru T. R. Baalu has approved road improvement works on National Highway sections in the State of Uttar Pradesh at a total cost of Rs. 726.60 lakh.
Approval has been granted for improvement of Riding Quality (IRQP2005-06) in Kms 47, 48, 50 and from 110 to 116 of Haridwar – Bareilly, NH-74 at a total cost of Rs. 309.60 lakh.
An amount of Rs. 417.00 Lakh has also been approved for the widening and strengthening of Gandewad-Hathnikund Barrage road under Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Inter-State Connectivity in the State.
