The Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Thiru T. R. Baalu has approved road improvement works on various National Highway sections in the State of Rajasthan at a total cost of Rs. 11.84 crore.
An amount of Rs. 499.54 lakh has been approved for widening of road from 3.5 M to 7.0 M in village portion and submergence area on Tonk-Sawai Madhopur-Shivpuri Road (SH-30) from 94 km to 108 km under Inter State Connectivity Scheme.
Approval has also been granted for widening of existing road from intermediate lane to two lanes with improvement of riding quality from 39 km to 68 km on NH-15 (Jaisalmer-Barmer-Sanchore road) at a cost of Rs.684.72 lakh.
