The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has, ex-post facto, approved the proposal of entrusting additional charge of the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Indian Airlines Limited to Smt. Sushma Chawla, Deputy Managing Director, Indian Airlines Limited, with effect from 11 June 2005 till the date of making over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
In this regard, the ACC has directed PESB to take expeditious action for selection of the regular CMD, Indian Airlines Limited.
