The meeting of the second Sub-Committee of the Parliamentary Official Language Committee (Sansdiya Raj Bhasha aimiti) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Committee’s Deputy Chairman Sh. Ram Dev Bhandari, M.P. (Rajya Sabha). The Committee reviewed the functioning of the Official Language in the Ministry of Railways and gave its directions on different issues. The meeting was attended by the Committee Members Dr. Laxmi Narayan Pandey, Dr. Prasanna Kumar Patasani, Kunwar Sarvaraj Singh from Lok Sabha and Sh. Laxmi Narayna Sharma, Shri Mool Chand Meena from Rajya Sabha apart from Secretary to Committee Smt. Poonam Juneja.
The Railway side was headed by Minister of State for Railways Shri Naranbha J. Rathwa. Chairman, Railway Board, Shri J.P. Batra and other senior officials of the Ministry participated .
