Shri Y.Siva Sagar Rao took over the charge of Chairman Cum Managing Director of Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), today. He took charge from Shri C.Appa Rao, Acting CMD, RINL, VSP on the forenoon of 20th October 2004.
Born in 1947 , Shri Rao is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the JNTU college of Engineering, Kakinada. He joined VSP in 1983 and was responsible for the timely and safe commissioning of Raw Material Handling Plant, Calcining and Refractory Material Plant and Steel Melt Shop. Recognizing his untiring efforts for the successful commissioning of Continuous Casting Shop in record time, he was honoured with the prestigious Jawharlal Nehru award for outstanding performance in 1992.
