The Ministry of Railways has issued orders announcing the payment of Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) equivalent to 59 days’ wages for the financial year 2003-2004. This will benefit non-gazetted Group B, C and D railway employees. There are 13.78 lakh non-gazetted employees across the country.
Productivity Linked Bonus is based on the productivity indices reflecting the performance of the Indian Railways.
