The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has sent his greetings to his fellow countrymen on the occasion of Dussehra which falls tomorrow.
In a message, the President has said, “On the joyous occasion of Dussehra, I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to all our people for their happiness, joy and prosperity.
Dussehra symbolises the victory of truth and is an event which tells us that those who follow the path of virtue, goodness and righteousness will always emerge victorious, while those who do not will ultimately face defeat. The festival is also an occasion for society to share its happiness and joy with the needy, the lonely and those in pain. May this festival inspire us to work for the progress of the country and strengthen the moral foundations of our society”.
