The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in his message on the occasion of the festival of Durga Puja which is being celebrated today, has said: -
“On the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja, I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to all my people”.
The Durga Puja festival symbolises devotion to Goddess Durga and victory of truth and righteousness over evil. This festival is also an occasion for society to share its happiness in this festive season with the needy, the lonely and those in pain. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of unity and brotherhood amongst all our people”.
