The Government of India has nominated the Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Shri Navin B. Chawla as the new President of Indian Institute of Mass Communication Society for the duration of its current term. He will also be the Chairman of the Executive Council of the IIMC Society. The post of President, IIMC Society/Chairman, Executive Council had fallen vacant due to the demise of Shri Ramesh Chandra on 22nd September, 2004.
