The Draft Tender Document proposed to be used for inviting bids towards subsidy support for provision of Rural Household Direct Exchange Lines (DELs) in specified Short Distance Charging Areas (SDCAs) has been put up on DoT website www.dotindia.com for inviting suggestions/comments from the prospective bidders. The suggestions or comments, if any, may be sent on or before 25.10.2004 to Deputy Administrator (Tech), USF, Department of Telecommunications on FAX No. 011-23372157 or by e-mailing at the address: ddgusf@bol.net.in or itadmint@bol.net.in.
The draft tender document has been prepared in accordance with the Rules framed under the Indian Telegraph (Amendment) Act, 2003 for implementation of Universal Service Support.
