Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a Defence Public Sector Undertaking has paid a dividend of Rs 23 crores for the financial year 2003-04. The Chairman and Managing Director of BDL, Major Gen P Mohandas (Retd), presented the dividend cheque to Defence Minister Shri Pranab Mukherjee here today.
The Hyderbad based BDL is engaged in the production of strategic Defence equipment of world standard. The company has paid dividend regularly over a decade and is poised to grow many folds in the next few years with the commissioning of new projects that would enhance the capabilities of the Defence Forces.
