Union Minister for SSI and ARI ministry Shri Mahabir Prasad will inaugurate the Techmart India 2004 on 14 November 2004 at Hall No.14 at Pragati Maiden.. The Techmart India 2004 is being organised by National Small Industries Corporation Ltd in its golden jubilee year. To showcase achievement of small sector industries under one roof and coinciding with the India International Trade Fair, Techmart India 2004 will be the platform for those associated with the small sector and interested in keeping abreast with the latest technological developments in the small sector. .
It will give an opportunity to display machinery and equipment at the largest fair in Asia and to develop network, to establish new business contacts and to renew old contacts to discover new market opportunities and enhance market access in India & abroad.
Indian Small Scale Sector plays an important role in the industrial growth of country. Over the years this sector has shown a tremendous amount of resilience to compete and improve its performance in the changed globe environment. National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has been in the service of Small Scale Industries for the last 50 years through its various package of assistances. NSIC has been organizing Techmart India to activate the process of technology upgradation and assimilation.
