Shri M.Senapati has taken over as Chairman-Cum-Managing Director (In-charge) of MECON Limited, a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India in addition to his present responsibility of Director (Engineering) of the Company.
Shri Senapati has been closely associated in getting ISO accreditation for MECON which is the first of its kind for a consultancy organisation in the country. He has also been involved in successfully executing Asia’s largest Coal Handling Plant for Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. He became Director (Engineering) of MECON in September 2002 and was responsible for engineering/execution of many industrial projects.
