Safety improvement in Electric Locomotives on Indian Railways is progressing at a fast pace.
Accordingly, air driers for improving brake system has been fitted in 312 electric locomotives.
Dynamic Braking Register has been provided in 78 electric locomotives.
In addition, 138 electric locomotives have been provided with freature of Automatic Switching On of Flasher Light.
Besides, Energy-cum-Speed Monitoring system has been installed in 104 electric locomotives. Safety enhancement in electric traction rolling stock is intended to improve safety of rail services further.
