The National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), the aluminium major produced 30,681 tonnes of aluminium cast metal, 1,36,500 tonnes of alumina hydrate and 4,12,142 tonnes of bauxite during October, 2004 against respective targets of 30,650 tonnes, 1,34,000 tonnes and 4,10,000 tonnes. The net power generation of the company during the month was 511.02 million units against a target of 484.10 million units. During the month, it sold 55.75 million units of power to GRIDCO against a target of 28 million units.
