hindustan latex pays dividend to government

Hindustan Latex (HLL), India's premier public sector enterprise under the administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India, has paid a Divident of 24.21% on the paid up capital, amounting to Rs.376 lakhs to the Government for 2003-04, an increase of 33.3% over the divident paid over the past year of Rs.282 lakhs. HLL manufactures a wide range of Contraceptives and Health Care Products.

The cheque for the amount was handed over today, at a special function at New Delhi, to the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss.
