The Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), a Laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) has successfully developed an original single-vial cold kit of Diagnomamo to detect bone tumour and breast cancer. A novel and original single vial cold kit exhibits its potential as a new tumour localizing agent in breast masses and bone metastasis with a high sensitivity and specificity. A study has been conducted on over 400 patients suffering from breast cancer, bone tumour and metastasis and no adverse reaction of any type has been observed, certifying it for safe intravenous administration. The dedicated scientists of the institute have taken the kits to the phase III stage and the trial of this kit is ongoing in 20 Nuclear Medicine Centers of the country. These centers have sent encouraging feedback.
INMAS has also developed another kit to diagnose suspected bone or soft tissue bacterial infection of Ciproloxacin for bacterial infection. Clinical trials at different centers have proven their efficacy for diagnosing specific infections. Multicentric clinical trials at more than 18 centers are currently on
