Indian Railways will complete full computerization of claims offices during the current financial year 2004-2005.
Computerization of claims offices will provide on line information to claimants about the status of claims. This will help the customers to find unconnected consignments. Besides, it will be a powerful tool for monitoring the claims cases.
Computerized registration of claims in Zonal Railway headquarters has already been started from April 2004.
