The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for signing of Agreements on Mutual Legal Assistance in connection with investigations, prosecutions and other proceedings relating to criminal matters between India and Singapore and also between India and South Africa.
Similar treaties have already been signed with UK, Canada, Russian Federation, Switzerland, Turkey, France, Kirghyzstan, Kazakhstan, UAE, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, USA, Bahrain, Thailand, South Africa, Kuwait and South Korea.
