“I convey my greetings and good wishes to the people of India on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima.
Lord Buddha through his teachings showed us the eternal path of ahimsa, right conduct and universal love. His teachings have the power to transform our lives by generating new spiritual consciousness in the Society.
Lord Buddha’s birthday is the moment to rededicate ourselves to the ideals for which he lived his life, to create a just, peaceful and contended society in which every body lives with dignity.
While paying our respectful homage to Lord Buddha, let us imbibe and follow his enlightened teachings.
