The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments: -
Shri A.K.D. Jadhav, IAS(MH:70), currently in the cadre, as Secretary, Ministry of Mines, in the post vacated by Shri Charan Das Arha, IAS(AP:68).
Smt. Sunila Basant, IAS(JH:70), currently Director General, National Productivity Council, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, as Secretary, Department of Drinking Water Supply, in the vacant post currently held as additional charge by Shri J. Harinarayan, IAS(AP:70), Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources.
Smt. Satwant Reddy, IAS(PB:71), currently Additional Secretary, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, be re-notified as Special Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, by temporarily upgrading her present post.
Smt. Gouri Chatterji, IAS(WB:71), currently Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power, be re-notified as Special Secretary, Ministry of Power, by restoring her present post to the level of Special Secretary.
Shri Rabi Narayan Das, IAS(GJ:71), currently Director, Enforcement, Department of Revenue, in the rank of Additional Secretary, be re-notified in his present post in the rank and pay of Secretary by temporarily upgrading the post.
Shri Umesh Narain Panjiar, IAS(BH:73), currently in the cadre, as Director General, National Productivity Council, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, vice Smt. Sunila Basant, IAS(JH:70), in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary, by reverting the post to the level of Additional Secretary.
