The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who is presently at St. Petersburg on a State visit has condoled the passing away of Shri Sunil Dutt, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports.
In a condolence message to his son, Shri Sanjay Dutt, the President has said:
“I was shocked to learn about the sudden and untimely demise of your father, Shri Sunil Dutt. May his soul rest in peace. Kindly accept my heartfelt condolences and convey them to the rest of the members of your family. Shri Sunil Dutt had made many significant contributions in the fields of art and public life. I pray to the Almighty to give you and other members of your family the courage and strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
