The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh met the President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at Rashtrapati Bhawan today. The meeting lasted 35 minutes and was part of the regular interaction between the two leaders.
The Prime Minister briefed the President about his recent visit to Moscow to attend the 60th Anniversary of the end of the Second World War and his meetings with Russian and other world leaders there. The just concluded Parliament Session and other matters of national importance also figured during discussions. The President’s forthcoming visit to four foreign countries was also discussed.
