Shri Vilas Muttemwar, Minister of Non-Conventional & Energy Sources has condoled the untimely death of Shri Sunil Dutt, Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports at Mumbai today. Recalling the qualities of Shri Sunil Dutt, Shri Muttemwar said that as an able politician, veteran actor and a dedicated social worker Shri Dutt made an invaluable contribution to the society on many fronts.
In his condolence message Shri Muttemwar made special mention of Shri Dutt’s efforts in promoting communal harmony, spreading AIDS-awareness and his contribution to the cause of cancer treatment. Winner of several awards for his excellence in Films and contribution to International Peace, Shri Dutt was currently engaged in making the youth of India reach the greater heights in international sports events. “The loss caused by his death is irreparable,” the Minister said.
