Shri A.K.D. Jadhav, a 1970 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre, today took over as the Secretary in the Union Ministry of Mines. Prior to this, he was the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Maharashtra. He took over from the Coal Secretary, Shri P.C. Parakh, who was holding additional charge of the Ministry.
