The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for exchanging 2.5025 hectares of Defence land with 2.3480 hectares of land of Andaman and Nicobar administration at Port Blair alongwith six existing wooden structures standing thereon.
The exchange will benefit the Navy with possession of vacant unencumbered land for construction of accommodation for Navy personnel.
