The Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Thiru T. R. Baalu has approved five road improvement works on NH 30 and NH 31 in the State of Bihar at a total cost of Rs. 13.60 crore.
On NH 30, approval has been granted for repair of road deck of Koliwar bridge over river Sone in km 134 to 136 and rehabilitation of wearing coat of Kayam Nagar bridge in km 126 at a cost of Rs. 3.94 crore.
Approval has also been granted for four works amounting to Rs. 9.66 crore for periodical renewal works in km 50-55, 57, 58, 169-196, 230-256 on NH 31 and km 121 to 133 on NH 30 in Bihar.
