The Vice President, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has greeted the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of Holi, the festival of colours and spring.
In a message, Shri Shekhawat said that Holi heralds the advent of harvest season bringing happiness in the lives of all. It is celebrated all over the country in the true spirit of brotherhood with colours, gaiety and enthusiasm and depicts India’s `Unity in Diversity’.
The Vice President said that the festivities of Holi transcend all distinctions and unite us all in a joyful celebration of sprinkling of colours. May this festival strengthen the feeling of oneness and harmony in the society, he added.
