During 2003-04 Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) received export orders of Rs. 232 crore and achieved physical export turnover of Rs.596 crore.
BHEL is already supplying equipment and services to Power distribution Sector such as Switchgear, Energy Meters, Insulators, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).
This information was given by the Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Shri Sontosh Mohan Dev in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
