The President has been pleased to appoint Shri Bhuta Singh, Governor of Bihar, to discharge the functions of the Governor of West Bengal, in addition to his own duties, during the absence, on leave, of Shri Gopalkrishna Gandhi, Governor of West Bengal with effect from March 25, 2005.
