The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has condoled the passing away of the former cine star, Shri Gemini Ganesan.
In a condolence message to the former film star’s wife, Smt. Babuji, Dr. Kalam has said, “Gemini Ganesan was one of the most famous actors who strode across the stage of South Indian cinema. In a career spanning more than half a century he brought joy and happiness to the thousands of his fans and to lakhs of cinema viewers through his roles, which were full of passion and emotion”.
