The President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has condoled the passing away of the noted cartoonist and writer, Shri O.V. Vijayan.
In a condolence message to his wife, Smt. Theresa Vijayan the President has said, “Shri Vijayan was a man of many talents and creativity. This was evident through his cartoons that graced the pages of many leading newspapers and his political satire and entertaining short stories as a writer”.
