During the current financial year (2004-05), Heavy Engineering Corporation, Ranchi (HEC) has been provided budgetary support of Rs.125.65 crore for liquidating arrears of salary/wages and outstanding statutory dues of its employees as on 31.7.2004.
HEC has received orders worth Rs.4.36 crores from Defence Sector in 2004-05. This information was given by the Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Shri Sontosh Mohan Dev in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today.
