The Central Board of Trustees, Employees’ Provident Fund has decided to engage a Consultant namely M/s. Mercer Human Resources Consulting for one time study of various aspects relating to investment, management of EPFO funds. Stating this in a written reply in the Lok Sabha, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Shri K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that no controversy or no receipt in the Indian arm of the multi national M/s. Mercer Human Resources Consulting. In reply to another question, Shri Rao said that the Central Board of Trustees had invited open bids through advertisements in leading newspapers for the job. It took a decision after taking objective, comparative analysis of various contenders.
