Shri R.R. Jaruhar, a member of Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE), has taken over as Member Engineering Railway Board and ex-officio Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways, here today. He succeeds Shri S.P.S. Jain who retired on superannuation with effect from February 28, 2005. Earlier, Shri Jaruhar was General Manager, Northern Railway, Delhi.
Shri Jaruhar brings with him rich experience in construction and maintenance of Indian Railways including a stint in Algeria. He is a Human Resource Development Manager par excellence and carries with him all his functionaries together.
