The Union Public Service Commission will hold the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2005 on 21st August, 2005. The Examination will be held for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of NDA for 116th Course and Naval Academy for 36th, 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course commencing from July, 2006.
The last date for receipt of applications is 18th April, 2005. In respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote localities the last date for receipt of applications is 25th April, 2005.
The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country on cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only).
In case candidates have any difficulty in obtaining Application Forms from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices, they should immediately contact concerned Postmaster or UPSC’s “FORMS SUPPLY MONITORING CELL’ over Telephone No.011-23389366/FAX No.011-23387310.
For filling up the application form, the candidates should refer to the detailed instructions given in the Commission’s advertisement published in Newspapers and Employment News dated 19th March, 2005. Complete details about the examination will also be available on Internet on the Commission’s website at address: http://www.upsc.gov.in. Candidates can obtain information about Receipt and Registration of their application, venue of examination’s results, interview programme etc. on the same website.
UPSC has a Facilitation Counter near ‘C’ gate of its campus. Candidates may obtain any guidance/information/clarification regarding their application/candidature on working days between 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. in person or over telephone No.011-23385271/23381125 and 011-23098543 from this counter.
